Comms Cape

The Comms Cape is ideal for industrial communication applications and provides an array of communication protocols including one RS485, one CAN, two analog 4–20mA current loops. Two 3A 50V interfaces allow the control of high current loads.
- RS485
- CAN
- 2x 4mA to 20mA current loop inputs
- 2x 3A 50V sinks for high-current loads
- I2C EEPROM
Load Cape

Drive high-current loads like relays, motors, solenoids, and high current LEDs.
- 8x 3A 50V sinks for high-current loads
- I2C EEPROM
Motor Cape

Drive DC motors with direction and PWM control.
- 4x 3A motor outputs up to 46V
- I2C EEPROM
Power Cape

The Power Cape is a complete power interface for the BeagleBone and provides regulated 3.3V and system out (typically 5V) from the BeagleBone itself. An on-board regulator provides a separate additional 3.3V (up to 1.0A) and 5V (up to 1.3A) out. The input voltage can go up to 30V and can also includes an interface to the BeagleBone power button and system reset.
- Powers the BeagleBone from any 4.5V to 15VDC power source
- 5VDC recommended for maximum charger efficiency
- Can charge a 1 cell lithium battery as a back-up power source
Proto Cape

The Proto Cape provides a blank slate to design any type of application along with plated through-holes for external component soldering. There are a few on-board components, like buttons, a multi-colored LED, and a basic LED to assist in the design process. The ID EEPROM is capable of having the address be re-assigned to allow for a seamless integration into the BeagleBone cape schema.
- 2x push-buttons
- RGB LED
- Single-color LED
- I2C EEPROM
Relay Cape

A quick and easy relay solution for home or other automation needs.
- 4x 15A @ 24VDC/12A @ 250VAC relays
- I2C EEPROM
Servo Cape

Provides numerous servo outputs and receiver inputs for many remote control, robotics and automation projects.
- 16x servo outputs
- 6x receiver inputs
- 5V power input
- I2C EEPROM
