3M Connectors Mini Camera Link™ (SDR) Connectors

3M Mini Camera Link™ (SDR) Connectors and Cable Assemblies feature a high density .8mm pitch interface and a low height profile of 0.5mm. Using the same reliable ribbon contact system and polarized steel shell interface as the 3M Camera Link (MDR), the SDR connectors offer the same performance, but in a miniature size. The Shrunk Delta Ribbon (SDR) connector's innovative packaging design allows for drop-in replacement of existing MDR Camera Link applications. The SDR connectors feature 30µ" gold contact, polarized, metal EMI/ESD interface, jacksocket hardware, and RoHS compliance.

Mini Camera Link (SDR) Cable Assemblies

The 3M Mini Camera Link™ (SDR) Cable Assembly solution is constructed of a rugged, over-mold shell with a reliable thumbscrew locking system. The assemblies have been developed to address the multitude of options now available with the introduction of Mini Camera Link (mini CL). In addition, 3M has added two new features to the standard Camera Link assembly offering. The first is an over-mold, right angle configuration that provides a low profile, thumbscrew interface. The right angle option reduces the assembly profile by over four inches when compared to traditional straight exit backshell options. The second new feature is the extender assembly that is used for adding length to the existing cables or providing a means for transition through a bulkhead/mid-span requirement. The extender cables feature over-mold MDR receptacles
